Once upon a time, in a kitchen not to different from your own, there lived a toaster. The toaster went day in and day out, cooking toast to perfection for its ungrateful owners. "I wish there was more to life then cooking toast to perfection for these ungrateful humans" it thought to itself.
One stormy winter morning, a young child woke up from a deep sleep, hungry for some toast. The child walkd into the kitchen, got some bread and headed for the toaster. The small child stopped and stared in shock at the place where the toaster usually was, but it wasn't there.
The night before, when his family was all asleep, the toaster escaped. Out of share power of will, the toaster escaped through the window of the kitchen and into the stormy winter night.
He slid down the roof and fell. One story, two stories, three stories down. His fall was broken by something warm, and soft. "Aaarrrgh, get off me you no good son of a..." the crazy drunken hobo stopped when he noticed he was yelling at a scared little toaster. "oh, hello there. Sorry to yell at ya, my names Harry, what's your name?"
"Ch..Ch ch.. Charlie sir." The toaster said, sounding scared.
"Hello Charlie, what are you doing falling from the sky, it's not safe you know. You could die."
"Sorry sir, I, I didn't mean to fall on you"
"You should be sorry. Now go around the corner in your sorryness and be sorry."
"Sorry sir."
"And don't call me sir!"
And so, Charlie the toaster left Harry the drunken hobo and hopped around the corner.
When Charlie turned the corner, he saw a big field and in the middle of the big field he saw two pretty little unicorns asleep on the grass under a tree. He hopped up to them and lay with them until her drifted off to sleep.
Charlie awoke the next day with two pointed horns in his face. "What is it doing here Kaukau?"
"I don't know Eden. Shouldn't it be in a kitchen somewhere?"
"Yes, I should be, but i got sick of making toast for those ungrateful humans." Charlie said, annoyed by the interruption of his sleep.
"oooooo, Eden, look, it can talk."
"My name's Charlie, What're yours?" Charlie asked.
"My name's Kaukau." said the purple unicorn, " I like shiny things. You're shiny, so I like you."
"Ummm, thanks... I think. And what's your name?"
"I'm Eden." replied the turquoise blue unicorn. "Would you like to fly with us Charlie? We could always do with some more company."
"Sure" Charlie said, as the Eden lifted him onto her back. When she made sure he was safely on her back, she took off. Flying through the stormy sky on Eden's back with Kaukau flying beside them and rainbows forming under their feet, Charlie drifted off to sleep again. And as he did, he lost his grip. And fell...
