If there are two things I hate in this world, it's being chained up and being taken away from my sword. Unfortunately for me, that's exactly how I was right now, and I couldn't be more pissed. They chained me here and locked the door, threw away the key and left. No one's been here in years. They know to stay away, but one day they'll forget and come back home. When they do, I'll kill them all. So I'll just sit and wait.
My name is Lucifer. I am a vampire. I'm not like every other vampire out there. You see, vampires have an ability to take over the bodies of people and animals at will, many people get that confused with us turning into bats or wolves (which we can't do). Why am I locked in this abandoned dungeon away from my beloved sword? Simple, I gained powers over fire when I occupied a wolf with a fire demon in it. Now I'm a being of fire; and now I'm out to destroy the world that once shunned and abandoned me. They'll be back soon, I can feel it.
Fifteen-Hundred years I've been in this dungeon. Feeding off the blood of spiders and mice that travel too close. That's all I need, a few drops of blood a day, a rat a week, I'll survive anything. They're coming now, I feel it...
"I told you there was nothing here."
"Yea, nothing except a whole lot of empty dungeons." Humans, I should of known. They're just curious, nothing to do with me. Unless...
"Hey, we did find this cool samurai sword." My sword! They found it. I have to get it back.
"H-help!" I yelled. Well, I tried to yell but I hadn't spoken in years. All in all I think it came out quite loud.
"Did you hear something?" One of the humans said.
"Help!" This yell was considerably louder then the other.
"Yea, I think it came from in here." The door rattled. It slowly creaked open. I launched forward. I remembered my restraints as they held me back. Two teenage humans walked into the room, one boy and one girl. The girl had my sword.
"What are you doing in here, chained up like this?" The girl asked.
"Oh I'm just waiting for someone. That's my sword, would you mind giving it to me?"
"Why should I? I found it and you're chained up. What's stopping me from just taking it?" This girl was smart, maybe a little too smart for her own good. Either way, I like her.
"I-I think we should just go Cat. This guys different. Look at his eyes." There was nothing wrong with my eyes. Sure they were as white as snow, and they went black when I was mad, but that's normal. Right?
"Fine. We'll take the sword and go." The girl, Cat, said.
"I can get out you know." They stopped and looked at me.
"How? You're all chained up. There's no way for you to escape."
"That's where you're wrong my dear." I said as I launched forward again, this time turning my body into dark blue flames. I rushed forward and around the pair, slamming the door shut and turning towards the pair of frightened teenagers. I turned back into flesh and bone.
