(Part One, Part Two)
The six friends kept walking through the forest and eventually found themselves at a dock. "Hello there, my name's Bayley. I'm a turtle." said the dock master. Charlie thought he was kind of awkward. "Would you like to hire a boat, or maybe buy a ticket to the Icy Mountains?"
"Buy a ticket thanks." Said Katie.
"Oh um, ok then, let's go there." Added Charlie. Charlie, Katie, Jess and Rosie all got tickets for the long trip to the Icy Mountains while Eden and Kaukau flew next to the boat forming beautiful rainbows in the sky that the crew and passenger marvelled at.
It took them 3 days to reach the mountains, but when they got there they saw mountains of ice rising up to the heavens. The view was spectacular. They all took a deep breath of the icy cold air and looked up. "We're almost there" announced Bayley.
When they reached dock they all stopped again and stared."Wow" whispered Rosie, "It's beautiful."
"These mountains are millions of years old" Bayley informed them.
"Yea, just like your mum." replied Jess
"Yea, she is. You should go talk to the locals, I'm sure they'd love some toast." Bayley told Charlie.
"Thanks, we'll go do that." He replied. There was a great gust of wind that blew all six of then off their feet and sent Bayley flying away back over the ocean.
"He was kind of awkward." Jess said, breaking the silence, "and I would know, I am the Goddess of Awkwardness." The six of them set off towards the local town when a seal stopped them.
"Hi, my names Ben. I can tell you're new here, would you like me to show you around?" The seal was long and round and had to slide around all day if he wanted to get anywhere. Ben took them on a tour of the town and pointed out a few of the locals. "Those three over there are best friends. I hate them and they hate me, I'm lucky they haven't eaten me." He said, pointing to a big dragon and two wolves. One of the wolves was grey, the other was white. The dragon turned around and spotted Ben and the six friends. "Oh great, here they come." Ben said as the group approached.
"Hey Ben, who's this?" The grey wolf said, motioning to the six friends standing behind Ben.
"These are Jess, Rosie, Katie, Charlie, Eden and Kaukau." He said, introducing them to the group, "and this is Nathan, Jesse and Blake." He finished.
"Hey beautiful. How's it going?" Jesse (the dragon) said, talking to Katie.
"Oh my god Jesse, really?" Nathan (the grey wolf) said
"What, she's a sexy vampire. It's not often they come into town." Jesse said.
"Still, why don't you get a dragon girlfriend?" Ben commented.
"Oh shut up or else I'll eat you!" Jesse replied.
"You can't eat him if you're busy LOSING THE GAME!!" Blake (the white wolf) announced. There were hundreds of annoyed groans from passers by as they all lost the game again. Even the group of friends groaned except for Charlie who was lost and asked,
"What's the game?"
"Well Charlie, The Game is a game where the point of the game is to not think about the game and if you think about the game then you lose the game. If you lose the game then you have to tell someone you lost the game and you have to wait 30 minutes before losing the game again." Kaukau explained.
"So I just lost the game?"
"Yes."
"And I can't lose the game again for another 30 minutes?"
"Yes."
"How do you win the game?"
"You can only win the game if everyone in the world is playing the game or if you think about the game during sex, which, being a toaster, you can't do. Sorry."
"Oh, well that's kind of... not cool." Charlie said, disappointment in his voice. At that moment, two great sea serpents burst up out of the sea.
"Who are they?"asked Eden.
"That's Emily," Ben explained, pointing at the blue serpent, "and that's her friend Jarrod. He's the town drunk." Ben looked worried as he motioned to the golden-brown serpent. "He gets drunk of seal blubber and seal blood." Ben was hiding behind Charlie when Jarrod spotted him.
"Look Emily, a giant sausage and a toaster. Imma go eat it!" He said.
"No, you can't eat the toaster, he's the main character." Emily warned him.
"Well then I'll just eat that sausage." He replied, as he charged forward and ate Ben in one bite.
"Wow, that was not expected." Jesse said.
"Hey Jarrod!" Jess shouted, "you should eat this giant taco i have in my pocket." She said as she pulled a giant taco out of thin air.
"Yummy!" Jarrod yelled as he bent over and ate the taco. When he finished, he lifted his head straight up and said, "I feel much better! What was in that taco?"
"Oh nothing, I just used my awkward goddess powers to cure your alcohol problems." She explained.
"Thanks." He said.
The six friends made friends with the others and decided to all stay in the town. "Hey, you know I am an ice dragon, I can use my ice breath to make you guys a castle to live in." Jesse suggested.
"Sure, that would be great." Katie replied without talking with the others.
"Cool." Jesse replied as he took a deep breath in and as he blew out, a giant castle mad of ice formed. All the friends (except Jarrod and Emily) lived in the ice castle for a long time afterwards and were all very happy.
