I really thought I was a goner then. Gilgamesh came at me fast, sword raised. The binds holding me fell at the last second and I ducked out of the way, narrowly avoiding the swinging blade. I lunged at him but he wasn't there any more. I looked around but he was nowhere to be found. "Looking for me?" A voice said. I looked up and saw Gilgamesh staring straight at me from directly above. He dropped and pushed me directly to the ground. Pain flared as I landed on my head and dropped my sword. Gilgamesh stood on my neck and picked up my sword. "I haven't got a Masamune in my collection yet. I think I might just have to take this one."
"N-No you don't" I tried to get the words out but it's kind of hard to speak with a foot on your throat.
"Oh yes I do." He lifted his foot off and kicked me in the head before he began walking away. I lay there for a few seconds before adrenaline and anger took over. I rolled over and shot two giant fire balls at him. He felt them coming and jumped high into the air. The fireballs flew up with him and exploded as they hit him in the chest. Gilgamesh fell slowly and landed as soft as a feather. He didn't have a single burn mark on him. This made me even more furious. My whole body burst into flames and the air all around us began heating up and sparking with fire. "Impressive, but Still not going to work Lucifer. I'm used to this kind of heat, I fell into a volcano once while fighting Vulcan. Just surrender and die before I help you to do it." I lost it. I let loose all of my power and forced it outwards. A large dome of burning white fire expanded out, consuming everything in sight. It kept going and going until it reached the border and consumed the whole state. The fire sank back into me after a few seconds of staying the size of the state. I saw white, when it was gone, I saw black.
When I woke, I saw a world of fire and ash. Burnt trees everywhere, black snow falling all around. Rivers of fire, lava and boiling water were running through the black. The sky was red and the clouds were black. Small piles of ash lay everywhere, the remnants of people and animals that once roamed these lands, and there, within one pile of ash, was my beloved sword. The only thing good and unburned in this world. This is what I wanted, this is the world I dream of. I could feel even more power running through me. The time to attack is now. I lifted up into the air, a tornado of fire surrounding me from the waist down. I let it take me where I wanted to go. Giovanni was in Italy, but I'd take the rest of the world first.
I went everywhere. Miami, New Orleans, London, Belfast and Berlin to name a few. Each time taking new lives and destroying everything. I destroyed all of North America, South America as well. I burnt up all the seas, burnt Australia, New Zealand, China and Japan. The whole world was on fire. I had challenged the Gods, and I had won.
